Design

In many cases, we manufacture our products to customer specifications or by working with the customer. However, should the customer need to design a product from scratch, our experience in this field allows us to offer a well-established design service using a modern 3D CAD system that enables us to model the final product in great detail. This methodology allows us to offer the customer a quick and effective feasibility and compliance analysis of requirements. It also gives us the ability to correctly dimension the transformers, simulate their operation and, finally, verify that all of the customer's mechanical, electrical (and possibly special requirements) parameters are met. At the end of the design process, we are able to move quickly to the prototyping phase. One or more prototypes can be supplied to the customer, accompanied by the required and agreed reports.

Tests

All our products are manufactured at our premises. 


Intermediate tests are carried out during the production cycle of our products. At the end of the production cycle, blanket tests are carried out: 100% of our products are tested before delivery to the end customer. Tests are carried out on each product to verify its compliance with customer specifications, design parameters and reference CEI standards. All instruments used for testing are subject to calibration at Accredia-certified laboratories.


Purely by way of example and depending on the type of product, the following tests (and others not listed) may be performed:


- Dielectric strength test; 

- No-load current test;

- Verification of the transformation ratio;

- Verification of iron loss;

- Primary inductance measurement

- Secondary inductance measurement;

- Primary resistance

- Secondary resistance

- Etc...

Processes

Our production processes are controlled step by step from the procurement of raw materials to packaging and delivery to the customer. One of our main characteristics is our flexibility which allows us to meet the customer's needs whether it is the production of a single piece or large batches. We are able to provide a tailor-made product according to the customer's specific needs. We use winding machines suitable for the production of electrical transformers, coils, electromagnets and linear windings of various types. We have a temperature-controlled drying oven with the possibility of extracting and providing the customer with a temperature graph during drying. We carry out vacuum impregnation/repregnation using autoclaves. 


Where necessary at design level, we use the latest technology such as 3D printing for the production of components (spools and others) in order to provide a customised product, to minimise dimensions or weights (where necessary) or to obtain specific shapes.
